George Gee has been on the Woodlands Stage
twice - in May 2003 for one performance and then again in December 2004 for 4
performances. This last performance included his full orchestra with
Ghanniyya Green as well as two swing dancers.
Both concerts were photographed and

George Gee has been leading swinging bid bands for more than 20 years! Based in
New York City, The George Gee Swingin' Jazz Orchestra is now the House Orchestra
at the world-famous Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center.
Ghanniyya Green is a native New Yorker (and how many do you know?)
with a long list of admirers including Sting, Branford Marsalis, Ella Jones, Max
Roach, Pharough Sanders, Art Blakey, Jr. and so many more.
